How to remove the center console trim?
Has anyone done this? Can’t open the cup holder lid cover, it’s stuck in closed position with my wallet and key fob inside!
From the pic, looks like I just have to pry up the whole console trim panel? |

That door is on a track, I'm not sure if removing the trim would get you in the compartment. Have you tried pressing on the top of the door instead of where you normally do to open? There's space you can feel behind the iDrive numbered preset buttons where the top of the moving door slides in.

When you get the side panel off (carpeted) try to get your hand or plastic pry tool up inside and see if you can dislodge the door first.
