Hi guys

Me again. Lol. Two more individual color X5's arrived today! I present: Atlantis Blue and Gun Metal.

Before we get too deep- yes Atlantis should have been M sport. I really can't believe I didn't check it. I was sure I did. Oh well. Still love the color. (I have an M sport X6 atlantis blue coming this week)

Gun Metal: wow. Kind of disappointed. I was thinking it would be similar to Grigio, but it's closer to Artic. The metallic flake is absolutely beautiful. I will include some artic gray to compare. Enjoy! Both cars are for sale. Dm me if interested.

Atlantic Blue is a lot brighter than I expected - perhaps lighting - many I've seen in photos were close to Laguna Seca Blue (448). Interesting color though as so said not so sexy on xLine.

As you observed Gun Metal seems indistinguishable to me too from Arctic Grey and also Sophisto / Dark Graphite Metallic (available only on xLine). Not sure if it's worth the $5500 upcharge but it's a nice dark grey.

yep, i got excited when I saw the title of this post, but then the Gun Metal looks exactly like our Arctic Grey. I would not pay extra.

It came off the truck and I went from 100-0 real quick lol. It's beautiful nonetheless, just was expecting something different.

Agreed, I don't care for the Atlantic Blue. In the pictures here, it looks like a color I'd expect to see on a Hyundai. (Not totally sure why...I think they may have a similar blue...)

My guess is Gun Metal has more pop in sunlight than the pictures are doing it justice. But worth $5,500??

Having said all that, I do really like seeing more color options...Keep 'em coming!

I agree. While I do like gun metal a lot it is very close a lot of other colors. Seem to have a bit more sparkle or could be the light

Though out of all the colors seen so far I'm quite smitten with the BGR M Sport *swoons* listing.

Now if Jubilee Silver R37 was available - I'd Swaplease my current G05 in a heartbeat LOL.

Ja ja seems a bit lighter than Dark Graphite Metallic with noticeable particles. I like it a lot also

On ja, Aqua Blue - I see lots of Tuscons in that color, LOL.

That blue looks exactly like the color of my Dad's '98 Ford Ranger. I don't think it works on the X5, but color is personal opinion so if someone wants it, then they should order it.

Gun metal is a nice color, def not worth 5500 over Arctic Grey. Also looks similar to dark graphite metallic, and there are a lot of those out there. For 5500, the colors have to really be special and stand out from the standard colors.

Not a fan of Atlantis Blue on a vehicle as large as the X5. I think it would look cool on the new M3 or M4.

As for Gun Metal, that's barely a shade from Arctic Grey and definitely not worth $5500. Maybe $550.

Currently, Tanzanite Blue, Nardo Grey, British Racing Green, and Urban Green, along with all the frozen colors, are my favorite Individual options.

Would love to have a Frozen Marina Bay Blue X5.

Atlantis Blue is one of those colors that looks way different in real life than it does in photos, maybe due to some pearlescent qualities. I find it actually much closer to a teal color. Many of the photos you see on the web look like the photos in this post. Tealish colored photos on the web those are closer to the actual color but still don’t accurately convey this color.

We have a Atlantis Blue M Sport over Extended Tartufo leather on order - so its nice to see a photo of a production G05 off the assembly line.

I'll go snag one this morning. I agree, it seems to always be a little different which I really like. I did a euro delivery F80 that was Atlantis blue and I recall more teal.. I'll try dig up some photos and compare the two 😎

I actually like Gunmetal. I dunno that many of them are really worth $5500, but the sparkles really make it stand out compared to Arctic.

+2, my F15 was in Glacier Silver.

Though BMW Titanium Silver (354 paint code) was the mainstay BMW silver metallic for many years, sigh makes me miss my old E46 and E53 in TS.

Now Individual Silver Grey would be a great alternate

Atlantis looks great on some BMWs but does nothing for the X5. As said above it cheapens the car and makes it look like a Japanese or South Korean model.

Thanks for the photos of the Atlantis xline X5 paint code tag. Just wanted to make sure those X5 photos were really 399.

I figured out how to adjust my camera settings to get an accurate picture of Atlantis Blue, as most all of the web photos are also way off and the Individual Visualizer is no better. I painted one of my BMW tanks in 399 to verify the color, before I ordered the X5, and this is about as close to real color as you'll see in person.
