I know that Consumer Reports is not the be all and end all of car reviews. But I looked at their annual auto issue this afternoon. The first sentence of their description of the X5 is, “The X5 is one of the best vehicles we’ve ever tested.” Aren’t we all so smart!

The only one I see on youtube is from April 2019 and begins "The BMW X5 is one of the best SUVs we've ever tested, standing out in its class with a composed ride, a powerful and efficient drivetrain, and a number of advanced safety features as standard equipment."

The G05 X5, IMHO is as close to perfect for a luxury mid-sized SUV as one can get right now. The 40i is also a great value if you consider the performance and refinement. 2019 was rated below average for reliability, but the 2021 scores really high all around. I am a subscriber and the X5 is the highest-rated SUV amongst luxury cars. In fact there are 3 BMWs in the top 5. I believe BMW never ranked consistently so high on CR ever! FWIW, the X7 is the highest-ranked luxury full-sized SUV as well...

"They" as in Consumer Reports? is the video about the '19 or the new '21? link please. I definitely want to see what negative points they had to say versus the most recent positive video.
