I would not be happy if I owned a Cayenne Turbo whatsoever.

Nice to see the M50i show up.

While the X5M is clearly faster , the visual gap between M and M50i (in this race) was not as compelling as I thought it might be between the two.

Not me I bought the M with a few options vs the Comp version. Thought it was more of what I wanted. Having had vehicles that run (modified) 300 more horses and ftlb's of TQ the M fit the bill.

This is what a beast sounds like at idle my C7 Z06 after all of the engine mods. 748 on the dyno so about 850 at the crank.

I mean, was this really even a contest? The specs on the F95 *BASE!* outrun this on paper. In practice this was a complete waste of 2min of my time. Nothing against OP as I love a good drag race. Win/Lose/Draw. But this should have been F95 vs F96 vs Cayenne Turbo E-Hybrid. Lemme see that!

About .5 secs faster 0-60, and a full sec faster on the qtr

As a former Macan owner, I'm EXTREMELY happy I traded mine in for a X5M. The BMW is what I wished/thought the Macan would be.

I think you expected too much from the Macan. It is slightly smaller than an X3, and the G01 M40i can outdrive all but the highest spec'd Macan. Not sure if I have seen an X3M against a Macan Turbo one of these type videos.

Assuming you had a Turbo or a GTS, can you elaborate on the differences and why the X5M is better? I was on the fence between an X5 and a GTS, ended up with a X5 M Sport X40i (time will tell whether I should have moved up to a M) for a number of reasons, which I'm liking more than I thought I would, but I'm thinking I'll give the X5 a couple years and make another move up to an M or over to Porsche.

And then again the turbo coupe is base 132k, and turbo Se hybrid is 166k, F95 starting at 105. If anything the GTS (110k, 453 hp) is the closest comparison imho.

Serious question in comparison though, do you align price or just highest trim?

As far as BMW tribalism, this is the bimmerforum. Is it that strange?

No way a Turbo S e Hybrid does the quarter a second quicker than an X5MC. My money would be on the X5M. The X6M handles the Cayenne fairly easily from a dig.
