cabin air filter 64116996209 vs 64116996208

Google didn't help much and search within the forum came up with nada.

For the cabin air filter, what is the difference between part # 64116996209 and 64116996208 ?

RealOEM.com shows -

Set, microfilter/activ. charcoal filter - 64116996208
Particulate filter set - 64116996209

Not very helpful either.

Could it be that;
64116996208 = normal filter + activated carbon filter
64116996209 = 2 x normal filter

Great info as always from Auricom.

The nano filter sounds awesome but the price!

I tried to order this filter, Genuine BMW Set Of Nanoparticle Filter - 64-11-5-A29-D99, from my BMW dealer and from BWM Parts Now on the web. Both of them stated the filter is not available in the USA and are blocked from ordering it.

I did a little reading on this from a couple of BMW websites. The articles said it was available to BMW world markets. I guess they're wrong.

May have been a temporary supply chain issue. These are widely available in the US now. I ordered a set today from Braman BMW in Florida for $126 + shipping + tax.

I don’t think that’s applicable for Canada.

I just ordered 64-11-5-A1B-DB7 and the two deliveries I got both contained two filters of micronAir 64-11-5-A13-762. I am a bit confused by that since the 64-11-5-A13-762 is shown as a part for the X7 not the X5. It's also not clear if 64-11-5-A13-762 is the activated charcoal or the nano particle filter.

Any insights would be much appreciated.
