AR 3" XI Downpipes Group Buy

I've gotten the ok from AR to help start a Group Buy for the soon to be released AR 3" Catless downpipes for the 335xi. I know some of you had signed up for the XI RR downpipes, but RR has had trouble finding an XI, so our next and I think a great option is AR. I will keep the list updated as people sign up.

Hopefully AR will jump in and will announce pricing and availability, but for now I wanted to get a list started so here it goes....

1. Humtek
2. cgillio
3. evo911
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

if you don't have tuning or an 02 sim you will most likely get a check engine light, having a cel will cause you to fail and emissions test. But with an 02 sim and the stock secondary cats in the exhaust you should pass emission testing just fine. You should really get tuning to maximize the benefit of the dp's.

As Nate said you'll be fine if you still have the stock catback exhaust and an 02 sim.

+1 on a tune to reap the benefits of any mod.

Munters do you have an aftermarket exhaust?

Depends entirely on your dealer.

Do you own or lease? Since I own my car I figured it's my car and I'll do whatever the hell I want to it. Plus, if something were to go wrong it would be cheaper to fix it on your own then paying the dealer to do it, but that is also what the warranty is there for. It's a double edge sword, you get cut either way.

EDIT: A tune is easy to take off if your that worried about it, but once you start getting into bolt-ons (FMIC, Exhaust, DP's, etc) it becomes a pain to try taking them off all the time.

" lmao i'm like nahh then after i was talking with him for a while and seems like a very cool guy i told him that i did have jb2h last year and it threw a code and i totally forgot to clear it, then he went to the computers and cleared it and then re-printed the papers...so i was saved. lol my sa is pretty cool but i dont trust anyone overthere anyway...but i' might just get the dps and hold 'em in my garage untill i'm quiet sure to put 'em in. lol

I would consider these but sounds like a self install would be very challenging due to confined space. Getting the stock DPs out seems to be the problem as the cats bump into adjacent mechanicals. Maybe if there was a good DIY for folks with xdrive.

We will be working on a DIY write-up for sure! Want to be added to the GB?
