Only neg is Ralleye should be slapping their emblem next to the license plate especially on a 490 special paints.

That's the first thing I thought too. That's an obnoxious position for a dealer badge. They better knock some money off to pay you for advertising for the dealer.

How can a dealer spec an individual color on a 40i, but it's not offered on custom builds?

Thread discussion here, note it's an identical process for X5/6/7 40i and M50i SAVs:

X5 xDrive40i Individual Paint Order
https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1807658

Not all dealers or SA's are knowledgeable on the Individual program for BMW.

Auricom - "Your SA will need to reach out to BMWNA ordering (previous process) or factory ordering to submit documentation and details required for your special paint order. There's a lead time of around 11 weeks and $5K for paint. You'll need to confirm your spec and I'm sure your dealer will require some time of commitment. Once ordered your are locked in - so make sure sure that the paint you're requesting is the one."

GlennC - "I ordered an Individual X5 40i two weeks ago (Daytona Violet) for my wife. The dealer had to adjust the build on their end for the individual order. The dealer required me to put down a $5,000 non-refundable deposit on the order."

Cool build, not sure I would go w purple on G05 chassis but it's unique and most certainly lives up to the name BMW individual. I think it would have looked even better if it had the black 22 inch wheels.

Expensive x5 with out HK, 22" wheels and sky lounge in the executive package. What I was told these options are not available currently at the factory. Nice color though.
