Somehow embarrasing for the M4, especially the roll race

Comments appear to lean heavily towards the X5M being tuned. Similar races apparently haven’t had the same results. Fast cars regardless!

Not surprised with the drag race, but was utterly shocked at the results with the rolling race. The 114 hp difference is significant, but thought that the weight of the X5MC would counteract that. Pretty embarrassing for the M4C!

yes, this is misleading. I would love to see a matchup of X5MC to X3MC

AWD to RWD contests aren't that interesting.

Torque is a factor as well I would contend - the 4.4ltr V8 is also one of BMW finest and from what I've read if it is to be believed that in the real world seems to produce a little more than the quoted 625bhp...

Yes - I had it as an M4C originally when I started the thread - someone has changed it to X4MC...

On the rolling race he keeps saying SO CLOSE SO CLOSE, meanwhile the X5 is pulling away the entire time.

Inertia is a hell of a drug.

Once that weight is moving, its not as big of a factor.

Yeah torque from the v8 is unreal. Amazing motors.

Everyone forgets the fact that X5 is all wheel drive which gives it a huge advantage on start, then the actual 100+hp difference…

Unsurprising really. If you add roughly 20% more HP there's gonna be a significant difference in performance, I don't care how much the F95 weighs. I'd bet the G8X would beat the F95 around the track but maybe not by much if both were in the hands of a capable drive. My F95 is a beast. People get in and I can barely TAP the gas pedal and it rockets up to speed. Best early First Father's Day gift to myself EVER.

Not that surprising. xDrive is the x-factor (no pun intended). With that motor and output, I don't see the M4 catching up. M3/M4 with xDrive should make it a bit closer but I think that V8 is just too much.

Agree on the 4WD vs RWD for standing start - but they do a RR as well which takes it out of the equation and the X5 walks it...

At work so didn't get though the entire video but would have expected that too. I mean the performance of that powertrain and being able to keep up with a Urus is all you need to know. At that output, the weight doesn't even matter in this type of race.

This seems correct I've done this several times with My F85 vs Plenty of vehicles either in Mexico or @ the track and the F95 is much faster stock for stock so I could imagine..
