2022 Options that have returned...

• 3AC - Trailer Hitch (now available for X5 again)

These deletions lucky were shorted lived

• 6UY - Deletion of Touchscreen ($500 credit)
• ZUY - Deletion of Backup Assistant (NC)

The more I research a MY 2022 X6 the more options, I'm finding deleted, see post #3 for deletions by MY

MY 2022 X6 40i (M50i Sport still has some of these packages/options)

• ZBxx - (Ind) Full Merino Leather that replaces (Ind) Extended Merino Leather (ZAxx)
• 4M5 - Leather Dashboard (M50i option)

I read all the threads that I could find but I'm still not sure what extended leather brings to the X6 40i?

Sometime during MY21, 2VR 2-axle air suspension got the axe for X5/6 models and prioritized for X5 45e/X7 builds and deliveries

Starting with MY21 for X6 xDrive40i, the following packages and options were eliminated
4M5 leather dashboard option

Starting with MY22'for X6 xDrive40i, the following packages and options were eliminated
ZDH Dynamic Handling Package consisting or: 2VW Adaptive M Pro, 2T4 M differential, ZX5 Active roll stabilization, 2VH Integral Active Steering

In addition to the options mentioned above... Wireless charging and digital key are gone along with seat release in cargo area.

I asked and was confused b/c the dealer has a MY 2022 X6 xDrive 40i with a 09/21 build date that has a digital key and P/S adjust from D/S, so I wasn't sure if it was removed or not? Definitely not listed the MY2022 Order Guide.

what about massaging seats? I have them on my 2021 X5 but when helping my brother in law order an M850 I didn't see that as an option. It does show on the 2022 X5 Luxury package - but there was also a message that the 3 things included in the luxury package didn't necessarily apply to the car I was configuring

Correct on these deleted options. My 2021 X6 M50i does not have the soft close doors or heated/cooled cup holders. I do have the digital key and wireless charger. Great car.

My dealer (in the SF Bay Area) mentioned to me on Saturday that the head-up display is no longer available, but he didn't go into any details. I just did a quick Google search and found that it may only currently affect various models in Germany.

I hear that Head Up Display on some models (not sure if it includes the X5) is being deleted as "Standard". Keep an eye out for that one....

MY22 X5s have both digital key & passenger seat adjustment on the driver's side, it would be strange for X6s not to have them.

I agree but I don't see it in the configurator interior images when I zoom in nor on the ordering guide?

I would expect to see the NFC module or something similar on the build sheet?

I finalized my build and learned a couple of new items.

HUD rumor is true it is NLA on some lower series vehicles and not available even as part of a package or option.

The Oct 4th allocations were pushed back to today b/c BMW was having trouble sourcing the SiriusXM radio modules and hoping to solve it given more time. If they don't the plan is to offer a $350 credit but also leaving the prewiring in the vehicle for a later retrofit. Good news for SiriusXM users is that BMW is still offering the free 1 year subscription and it can be access through your SiriusXM phone app.

Allocations should be released tonight and December allocations in ~ 2 weeks so there should be a flood of buildable vehicles available soon.
