DNB: Pacific BMW

I figured I might as well tell my side of the story with regards to my rear spoiler...

Dont buy parts from Pacific BMW as some posters might advise. Their service is absolutely horrible.

I ordered the rear primed spoiler from them, and it took 5 weeks for me to finally have a non-broken part reach my doorstep. They shipped me one that was broken first. I called the dealership 5 times and left messages, no response until I demanded to speak to a manager. Manager said it would be taken care of. I ship the broken spoiler back to them, and they say a new one will be shipped to me.

2 weeks later, and I still did not have my spoiler. I again called 3 times and left messages with no response. I filed an official complaint through BMWNA, and they ended up sorting it out.

If I were you, order through Circle BMW or Morristown BMW. I have ordered other parts from them, and have had pleasant transactions with them. They have much better customer relations, and still offer parts at a good price...

Pacific BMW is known for having less than stellar customer relations. Please learn from my mistake and do not order from them.

I see that they have posted in Roundel too... I want to send in a letter to the editor and tell them how terrible their service is...

On that note, if you do want plenty of hassles and be treated poorly, buy from Pacific BMW.

That's too bad... I was going to order from Pacific tomorrow because Circle never called me back...

Now I don't know what to do...

Sorry to hear that. I bought my alum pedals from there...and no issue.

But then again...I went there to pick them up. So...guess they treated me differently because I was right there at the parts dept.

G-

I would order at Morristown (I have had a good buying experience with them), or at Passport. Ask passport if they will give you a discount being an E90post member. They might be supportive from our turnout last weekend...

I ordered 3 times from PacificBMW without any problem. The items came as I expected. The last purchase was the OEM spoiler which you didn't recommend me to get from PacificBMW, but then it came very quickly and well packed.

I tried to order a cargo organizer from them online in March (before I took delivery), they charged my card but only told me days later that the item was nationally backordered and they asked me if I wanted to cancel the transaction and said they were going to reverse the charges. I got the email saying they were gonna credit back my card but they still deducted for shipping (for an item that never left their facilities). I lazily left that unresolved and went on to find one on ebay, Passport at the time reported the same backorder.

Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and I received a package and lo and behold a brand new cargo organizer from them. They had gone ahead and charged my card again even after canceling the order in March (due to unavailability). Weird thing is the invoice/packig slip is dated march 2006. I have sent them an email and awaiting results. So far, poor communication

Wow, I've used Pacific several times over the years and they've always been spot on. Things must've changed over there, or you were the one that slipped through the cracks. Not everyone can be 100% perfect 100% of the time. But if more stories are coming out, it definately means service is going down hill.

I always end up using Pacific over Circle because Circle has always sat on my orders for days before shipping.

I have ordered there twice. Both times I had pretty crappy service. I should have learned my lesson the first time .

I have also heard on many occasions their lack of customer service. Their prices are good, but you get what you pay for...

I have ordered some BMW bikerack for my E46 and had no problem with their part dept, until recently when I ask for the 330i exhaust chrome pipe and they refuse to sell it, they refer me back to my local dealer for the item. So that point I would try out Morristown BMW and they were great with returning phone calls and with competitive pricing and fast shipment.
