Hello to all,

Anyone could advise whether it’s possible to DYI trunk cargo nets in X6 G06?

Mine currently doesn’t have them cause “418 Luggage-compartment package” wasn’t ordered so there are no nets.

There are two parts available

• Network side trim panel, right Part Number: 51479461156
• Network side trim panel, left Part Number: 51479461155

Really wondering whether they could be installed?

Here is the photo of "my" trunk to see the issue where the cargo nets are not installed.

I've been digging and digging for a while trying find the net parts. Best I've come up with is to have to order the whole panel for each side at $215 per side.

Just got my X5 on Friday so now I can play with self-created options. I ordered some nets from Amazon. There are tons of these available but (1) they have ugly plastic frames and (2) they are all too wide or narrow. I got some 9" wide ones and I'm going to try to remove the net from the plastic frame and create a wire frame to hold it such as the OEM nets. Will post back if I'm successful.

The plastic frames I mentioned turn out to not look bad at all.
