Zeebrugge Port (9/11 Departure to Halifax on the Torrens)

Anyone here catching this ship or hoping to catch it from Zeebrugge to Halifax with a scheduled 9/11 departure and arriving 9/20?

I'm hoping to be on one of the next couple ships. The original ETA for arrival at the dealership was last week, but looks like my car hasn't shipped yet.

My car is at port, assume it's Bremerhaven but not really sure.

I see that the schedule has changed from Zeebrugge to Halifax. Now departing 9/13 and arriving on the 21st.

I am hoping to be on this boat and am at port waiting, but no notification from my dealer yet, though they are watching closely.

How do you know you are leaving from Zeebruegge, I thought all go via Bremerhaven? That would mean I need to increase my potential ship follow up list lol

Your dealer can tell you what port its at it. I had my dealer activate my BMW app and it will give you real time positioning of your vehicle.

Oh wow that is cool! Will ask them as well once its build to activate. Did you ask the SA?

I had the sales manager coordinate with the new car delivery guru and he "back end" activated it for me.

The date and time stamp is also cool as it tells when your vehicle was last moved/changed locations.

If for some reason the dealer is hesitant to activate, they can still tell you what port your vehicle is at.

Here is a screen shot of my build, from the dealer just prior from moving from a storage facility (42 days uggh!) to the Zeebrugge port. Systematically the dealer is a day or two behind of what is reality.

Went BOL hunting. Someone on the forum posted how to guess the BOL. it involves searching the schedules. There you’ll find the ship’s trip code (ie EA-234). You add an A in front and start append 01, 02, 03 until you get a hit. Make sure the destination is right. Then you can search your VIN.

How do you know the departing port? Since they don’t all go from Bremerhaven I’d assume you’d have to get that info from the dealer first then search ships from that location to Halifax.

I think it's either Bremerhaven or Zeebruge. I did ask my rep to enable the MyBMW app, so I could see that it was in Bremerhaven.

If it's from Zeebruge, you replace the 0 with a Z for the BOL

i.e. AEA23401 --> AEA234Z1 (again, play around with the last digit to find the appropriate landing port.
