Not an ordinary G05 X5 but a long wheelbase G18 X5 30Li

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hi guys just got my Carbon Black G18 X5 30Li mods put on the car and wanna share some pics. This is my first SUV bimmer for family usage. Although the car rides pretty well, I still want some sporty elements on it lol. I wish I ordered that 21" 741 wheels instead of the standard 740 wheels, but I wasn't aware that it was an option, damn...

Here are some of my mods that I put on the car,

Suspension - KW V3
Air filter - BMC high flow air filter
Intake inlet - FTP motorsport
Front brace - X5M oem front brace
Wheels - Enkei RS05rr 20" staggered spec
Front lip - Hamann style front lip
Rear diffuser + spoiler - not sure about the brand of it
Brake kit - Adtory 6 pistons BBK (it is a Chinese company that make good quality BBK with a reasonable price)

Anyways, here comes with some pics.

Nice upgrades. Begging for shadowline trim though.

What is a G18 X5?

Is the oem strut brace straight bolt in? I saw another forum member post about it, bit he had m50i I think. Wasn't sure it fit x40i, but looks like it does. Nice work.

direct bolt on but u need to remove the air box which is bolted on the metal attaching frame that you need to use to bolt on the X5m front brace. I replace the airbox air inlet part with the FTP inlet pipe instead.

Looks great! I think KWV3 seems like the way to go for the best drop and performance changes. As for the rims, what sizing/offset? Never considered Enkei for BMW before but these look great for 20inch size.

No we don't, just get an X7. Same width (actually slightly narrower) than the X5 but longer.

The X7 looks much bulkier, all I'd really want is the backseats to be a little bigger, trunk room is perfect.

I doubt that. M3 touring and an x5 are not the same.

Wheel and tire setup looks great. I like it.

What's this now? 10cm longer? What's that in American? An X7? Haha

No no. It's whatever is not available in the US that folks (at least on this forum) want to bring to the US.

Then once it's here, of course not buy it.

This should replace the X5 and then increase the X7 even more.

The only reason I didn't buy an X7 is because its too small. Would have loved to be back in a BMW.
