Bumper Damage Suggestions

This morning getting on the 401 from the 427 in Toronto I had a large piece of tire hit the bottom corner of my bumper. From the pictures you can see that the ppf really did a good job for the most part.

What I'm worried about is how the black piece attaches to the bumper. I can't push it back in so I suspect there are clips that hold it in place that have been broken or the bumper itself is broken.

Are you talking about the bottom gloss black trim piece that got hit or the side vent piece? The bottom piece comes off, I got mine off for the M Performance Lip. If you need that bottom gloss black piece, let me know. I have my set that are already PPF'd which were removed when I got the lip installed. I believe there is a bolt that has it in.

What I'm worried about is the way that bottom black piece indexes into the bumper. It's looser than the other side. I will have to take it off on the weekend and see.

Thanks for the offer on be bottom pieces, if mine is broken I will definitely take you up on it.

I'm really impressed with the ppf. A bit of soap and water took the rubber off the paint where the ppf did rip. Xpel is strong stuff.

So glad the xpel did what you paid money for it to do. This is a perfect showcase why PPF’ing is a must.

Hit it with a heat gun and it'll speed up the self healing
