Will Night vision return?

Someone knows if there is some information about Night Vision return? I just ordered a X6 and i want to add it…

What a shame…i find it such a nice feature and i wanted it in my new x6… i pressed the dealership to have a call to factory or something, but they say they can do nothing…
There are some X5 and X6 here in Europe that recently have been delivered with night vision..

There are some X5 and X6 here in Europe that recently have been delivered with night vision..

If it is coming back I would imagine it would be available in Europe before the US.

I would have also added it if it was available. The dealer told me the same thing about soft-close doors and heated/cooled cup holders. It's shameful how high the entry price is for some of their models and certain premium features can't be added.

As of 2023 it's been removed from all markets and is no longer an option to order. I have it as a special order on my 2022. I had a conversation with one of the product managers at an event recently who confirmed it most likely will not return.

That’s disappointing. Night vision was one of the reasons the X5 made my short list for a new vehicle. Hope it returns in the ‘24’s

I have connections within BMW. You can ask your client advisor, but night vision still isn't available for 2023 models and beyond

I'm curious what other brands of cars even offer it. Does Range Rover or Lexus, etc? I have it on my 650 and mostly forget it's there. I guess if I live out on dark country roads it might be more useful.

BMW probably had some metrics with some how its being used by collected telemetry data and realized almost no one was using it.

What BMW needs to fix is their headlights. I have the high end laser ones and they dont illuminate shit compared to my old xenons.

BMW wouldn't care if people are using it or not since they already bought it. It is likely due to a low take rate or even supply issues.

Jeep Grand Cherokee has an option for it. I think Audi, MB and others. I live in a rural area with tons of deer and other creatures.

I think it would be very helpful for me for night driving in our area.

Yeah, one night driving near Brockport, NY (suburb of Rochester), I caught something out of the corner of my eye, so stopped...20 deer ran across the road in front of me. I don't drive that much at night so, while it was available when I bought mine, I couldn't justify it for where I am now.

A lot of the luxury brands like BMW, Benz, Audi have removed it.

Right now the only ones I know of are the Escalade, Grand Wagoneer, and the Cullinan

Listing it as an option and actually getting it are not necessarily one in the same thing. BMW seems to not list things it cannot reliably deliver, and may surprise people if it comes in earlier than expected.
