Do we know if this is coming out with the same hybrid situation as the XM?

It will be getting the S68 which will have a mild-hybrid system, output should be around the same 600hp with a small bump due to the MH.

I wonder if the Euro dB standards are tightening again or the particulate filters hit hard.....X exhaust sounds quieter....

Thanks for posting !

Would expect the LCI hp to be higher than the current ZCP of 617hp, as the base model is being removed for the LCI—all 2024 F95 & F96 will be ZCP only.

PS gotta love Marina Bay Blue, best looking color from all the mules on the video.

That has not been the plan but I guess things could change at the last minute.
  • F95/F96 X5M/X6M LCI is moving to S68 and gets renamed to X5/X6 M Competition (no more Comp option - just one version remains, like we've seen with other M model refreshes). The official output of the gasoline unit will remain at 600hp but since this is a mild hybrid we should expect a small bump in the actual performance.

Possible ynguldyn had an honest typo there and put the base output instead of the comp with the consolidation.

Sometimes the output numbers just get moved around.

I wasn't keeping track of this in the last several months, now I'm seeing 615hp as the official number.

I can’t remember if they were launched together this time around, but when production of the lci starts in April of next year, will the standard X5 and X5M begin production at the same time? Or will the X5M have a staggered launch, at a later date in the year?

M LCIs (actual or effective) by their nature coincide with the LCIs of their core models.

How much of a price bump will there be for the 2024 standard ZCP, as the ‘23 US F95 had the ZCP around $9k, whereas the ‘23 F96 the ZCP was a no cost option.
