IDrive 8.5 will be released to service centers around July 2023.
The I-Level for the update will be xxxx-07-23-5xx.
Retrofitting HU5 to vehicles with HU4 will NOT be offered at this stage. The process is too difficult because there are significant differences between the headunits.
Upon starting the system, iDrive 8.5 will display a quick tutorial on how to use QuickSelect. This is no longer accessible after completing it.
