That it is not. If your referring that this is an M3 board yes I am aware lol. But I do see many comments on the XM in the threads and other videos that are not M3s. Just thought I'd share. If no one wants it, feel free to delete.

That’s why there are 451 unsold units sitting on dealership lots. Such a smash 💥 hit.

I looked at one here in Austin. Great looking, but goodness they're expensive.

It really drives terribly I thought. I really fear for the future M5 since it will be the same car just minus ~700lbs or so. This is the opposite of how I felt about the M3 when I drove an X3M Competition in 2019, I knew when they pulled 500lbs out of it and made it lower to the ground it would be a great package and it turns out it is.

My local dealer has a few sitting on their lots. I went in to visit and the car just doesn’t have any gravity. You just see it and move on.

I think this car would have been far better if they didn't slap the M badges all over it... its a weird combo of a supposed performance car that's worse than an X5M and a worse luxo / practical car than say an X7... so yea, not 100% clear who this car is made for... i guess maybe the G63 crowd?

I love how at the most recent M Town Tour, BMW brought 3 XMs, 1 M3 Comp, and 1 i4 M50.

The M3 Comp and i4 M50 were SOOOOOOOOOO much better than the XM, especially when you factor in price. It's very sad that BMW's flagship is so mediocre when directly compared to its own stable mates. BMW thought the hype was going to be around the XM, but very few people actually wanted to drive one. How sad is that?

Got an invitation to test drive the iX 50 and i4 in Napa a couple years ago. Both were pretty nice cars. iX was especially nice inside. Neither are M cars and I assume the iX M isn’t much better. So much weight to move around as EV’s are heavy. Will say the iX was much much nicer inside than a Tesla model X. Tried to convince my neighbor to purchase a BMW over a Tesla. Wasn’t happening. At the end of the day he was overly impressed by fart noises and pseudo-self driving.
