Convertible Pricing?

Just registered to the forums. I have read a fair amount on possible pricing for the 128 and 135 coupes but have not come across anything about the convertible. I am really interested in a 128 convertible with few options (sport package and possibly auto trans, but only if it is the new SMG). Anyone have an idea of how much more the convertible will be than the coupe?

Thanks

Jay

it's really hard to speculate at this point. We don't even know for sure how much the 128 and 135 will be.

Oh my god, this car is going to be so expensive. It hurts my head to think about how much a convertible would cost.

I bet the 128 convertible will be pretty reasonable. Now I know why you need your sunroof coming from the S2K.

From my reading before, the car is going to be detuned chassis/suspension wise for the convertible, or was that just a misconception? Either way, hard top for me...

Hadn't heard that but could be a possibility.

MX-5 does give me the open air option which is a major plus woo hoo...

They already have one with the 3 series why do another? I personally like the soft top look, but that's JMO.

except for the hardtop mx5 which is the same as the softtop. Still I vote softtop for weight savings and cost savings.
