Yes,

$1k over. Shakeel Bagga at BMW Fremont... 510-360-5937. However, I did have to pay MACO (~$300) and a Training Service Fee (~$180).

Flip-side is he gave me free floormats...

Tell him you want the same or better deal as Sam with the Artic 330i

Try Stevenscreek BMW. I got 1000 over invoice there. Try John Drake there, and he will surely give you some good deal.

Pricing detail help for a local brothern!!!!!!!!!!!

Hsiaochinsan

Thanks for the lead. Could you share with me the details on what you purchased and with what options. Also please include the price before the $1000 over invoice.

p.s. also when did you purchase, it helps to go into and talk with John if I know the details of your purchase and timing.

Thanks

CCC try the updated pricing pdf at the top of this sticky for the invoice prices. Use it to price your specs.

I bought my e90 330i from SC BMW and invoice was 43,400 and I paid 1,000 over. MSRP on this car was 47,800. Options include everything except parking sensors and active cruse control. Talk to Fred Garcia at SC BMW.
Good luck man!!!

From what I hear, BMW of Fremont are pretty much lowballing all the competitors. It's way easy to get less then $1,000 over invoice from them.

the flipside is their service dept is not so hot, I know a few people who haven't been happy over there.

I must say I also don't care for their sales crew, I had that Shakeel guy give me a test drive in a 330xi last year and he didn't even really want me to drive the thing, was giving me a bunch of crap about how BMW drivers don't want high miles on the car (true but, I'm not going to buy a car from you if you give me crap about testing them)
I hope he reads this and sees I've bought 2 BMW's since then, none from him

Kevin Ward Weatherford BMW

Kevin has been a great guy to work with. Taken 2 test drives with me and was totally patient the entire time. Knowledgeable and respectful. In terms of the cars on the lot he was willing to talk in the range of 1000 off MSRP, but I chose to order my car custom from Germany. I have not recieved it yet so I cannot give you an exact price yet. But I told him I'm not paying more than 1000 over invoice and he told me that was fair, I'll let you know how things turn out when the car gets here after the german vacation in late october!!!

I'm losing my mind spending most of my time browsing the photos of all of you lucky bastards cars. My fiancee thinks I'm obsessed.

Oh yea the service at Weatherford is piss poor also, they treat you like you are bothering them.

I heard from someone say that they are going out of business? Fremont's doesn't stock very many cars... only 5-6 3 series the last time I checked (last night). But I'd like to buy from them anyways because of their price and cause I'm local, (live about 10 minutes away) I'll just have to get service somewhere else. Any advice on who to see if my car has problems?

No, Fremont is not going out of business... They used to be Claridge's but about 18 months ago, they got bought by AutoNation which owns a ton of dealerships across the USA (They also own BMW Mountain View which used to be Allisons). They sell a ton of 3 series and I was just there today getting my aluminum pedals from Shakeel. When I looked on the lot, they definitely had more than 5-6. Maybe they just don't update their website?

I have tried just about every single dealership in the bay area for service (except for Sonnen in Marin) and they are all pretty lame compared to Lexus or Porsche. Concord is not bad, and that is where my brother-in-law goes but its way too far for me. The trick I have found is just to make friends with one of the Service Advisors as they are pretty much the key to the service dept. I usually bring them a bottle of moderately priced wine and it has worked miracles for me.

Ward, I am sorry to hear you had a bad experience with Shakeel. All I know is that I started looking for a new BMW a year ago and I must have driven at least 5 different cars at 5 different times and he never lost patience with me (M3 Stick, M3 SMG, 530i, 330i-e46), 330i-e90).

-Sam

P.S. Shakeel told me he is very motivated this month... so if anyone is interested, give him a shot. If you want a formal introduction, you can PM me.

I bet that guy's motivated every month,

I'm only 27 so I'm pretty sure that's why I got the crappy treatment down there.

seriously, anyone in the bay area should check out east bay in pleasanton, they're small but the sales force is by far the best to talk to and deal with that I've seen.
