I have 2024 bmw x6 x40i running idrive 8.0.

Whenever I use any of the navigational applications It shows the route I am going in but the car is facing opposite direction.

This goes for google maps, apple maps, and also waze.

I held down the volume knob for maybe 60-80 seconds and did a triple reset on the infotainment but still getting the same result.

When I disconnect from carplay, the navigational apps work just fine on my phone.

Any help would be appreciated🙏🏼

I saw a youtube video on how to change the arrow to car direction instead of N all the time. I'm trying to look for the video but haven't found it. Maybe try searching in youtube. I forget how. I don't have my car yet.

The challenge i’m having is that on the carplay app, all my navigation applications are showing the car facing random directions while driving. Sometimes i’ll be heading east on the highway but the direction of the car on carplay google maps or maps show that the car is face west. In other words, its showing that i’m going backwards on the highway

Anyone having issues using Waze on iOS 8 on a X5 2024?
I have a friend that needs help, he just bought one, and Waze gets crazy with the maps, by that I mean, the map suddenly turns 180 degrees and the driving direction is the opposite. The local dealer says is a bug, but they have no fix for it.
Any tips or help will be appreciated
