135i 1/4 mile guesses?
Just to put it into perspective for me, what are the guesses on 1/4 mile times on the 135i? Anyone know what the 335i's are doing in the 1/4?
I'm buying a new car some time in January. I'm thinking either a 06-07 CTS-V or new 135i. |

335i is a high 13 car. 135i should be mid 13s I would guess.

if u add a procece, add some ultraleggera rims and michelin ps2 then i'd anticipate high 12s
otherwise about mid to high 13s... now if u lived in miami those figures really do not matter, u can't find a quarter mile stretch without any traffic or a cop. |

I don't want to start a flame war here, but I don't care where your quarter mile stretch of road is, its not the place to test your car's limits. Save it for a drag strip or the track.

Not that I will be drag racing the 135i, but with the modifications I'am planning and then lightening the car itself I think i can manage a mid 12 sec time slip. There are some 335i's out there with exhaust, procede, etc., running well into 12's so I see no reason the 1 cant do the same.
And when a Turbo kit becomes available maybe 11's. But I beleive the car needs to go on a diet.

+1 for onramps. I love pulling up to a red light, making the right turn onto the feeder and punching it. The feeder/onramp by my house is a tad longer than a quarter and is what i look forward to everyday on my commute.

With the right driver, conditions and launch we'll be pulling close to a 13 flat bone stock! I've seen an automatic 135i drag a 350z on a closed course to 60 mph. Let's just say it made the 350z look like a Sentra. Easy 3 car length win. This thing is blistering fast. My MkV seriously felt slow after driving it.
