Seats!

Anyone having problems with the width of the front seats? Both the X5M and XM are super narrow and the bolsters on each side of the hips rip into you. I'm no Norwegian teen, but man I have no idea how most people fit comfortably in these sardine cans. Dealer told me he does hear grumbling about this issue quite often. I literally cannot buy these cars as I cannot sit comfortably in either for more than 3 minutes. Any ideas on a potential after-market fix? Reupholster the seats? Full swap outs to a Recaro or some other brand? Love the cars and I have a G05 M50i as well as a 2016 X5M. Seats weren't issues with those...

Performance seating upfront, luxury seating in the back. That’s really the only way to describe this vehicle!

I had the same issue, but the dealer said that with some time the bottom sides will get wider, adjusted to your butt. So it is, 4 months into ownership and it feels wider now. Or my but got thinner

Hmm, I have no issues with these style of seats.
Once thing I do notice though, the F95/F96 X5M/X6M seats padding is stiffer.
I got a customer with brand new X5M LCI, I was surprised how much stiffer the padding.
