Hello,

Since a few weeks, i'm driving the XM and i love it. The only draw back is the suspension: I'm living in Belgium and the roads are not that fantastic, something I realised when start driving the XM... The problem is not really the stiffness but rather the transmission of small road unevenness towards the cabin which gives a lot of noise.

I've seen some members installed the MSS suspension, what's their experience? Does it improve the overall comfort? Other experiences with other suspension brands?

Love to hear and learn from the experience of the forum members

I was fortunate enough to have full support from MSS HQ and able to develop the kit for them.
To date, I have sold 5 sets locally and internationally.
They have been happy with the way it perform.
It was my big concern on all BMW M SUV rides where it has a sharp jolt from the rear suspension when you drove through a bump or dips.
But, with MSS triple rate suspension system, I managed to get a maximum drop of 2” and eliminate that sharp jolts while still drive very sport SUV like.
I did made a video of me driving through canyon, but I forgot to turned off the camera stabilizer. So, I don’t want to use it since it doesn’t portray the actual ride quality.
I will try to make another one on my next canyon ride.

I've seen your car in other thread, it looks fantastic!
With the set you've developed, is the car always lowered? And when lowered, any modification that needs to be done regarding alignment?

If you've shipped overseas, any installer that you might recommend? I'm not able to do this myself

It has been lowered since 500 miles on the clock. Now I am at 4000 miles.
Unfortunately, been busy at work, haven’t got a chance to check the alignment.
My best guess, will have the same issue as F95/F96 X5M/X6M, which only front camber is not adjustable. But, can be fixed with regular G05 X5 upper contol arm.

Installer wise, you will need to do your research.

Thank you for your message, looking forward to learn from your experience. In any case, the MSS suspension which has been developed by Ben (RGsport) is looking very promising and would be my preferred choice.

Hello. I got the mss suspension in the mail yesterday. For my XM. in the instructions it says that it is recommended that the rear ones are at least 2 cm higher than the front ones, what is your opinion on this? I'm thinking of getting the car straightened. and the next question, I also bought spacers, if the car is leveled, will that be ok? thanks for the reply

Your best bet is to contact the place where you purchased it from or MSS.
I don’t set it up like that.
My setup and recommendation is to keep factory rake.
