Electric range increase after remote software upgrade

Anyone else experience this? I just did the latest remote software upgrade. My electric range was previously at 29 miles (range bar was at 95% filled). After the upgrade, the range bar had not moved but shows 35 miles now. Wonder if this is an artificial boost in range? Or maybe the software upgrade optimized the battery usage? Curious.

It is a very battery-intensive operation, so it may not have updated the actual battery capacity just yet…

Most likely it is because the algorithm got reset. Once it re-learn, it will stabilize again.

This is compared to 30 miles at max charge before the software update. Not sure how long the recalibration will take but it is still showing this much higher estimate range. Curious.

40 miles is about right. That’s what mine has always said when it’s fully charged.
