I'm taking the day off tomorrow and I'm heading out to Fife to check the 1'er out !!! if all goes as planned I should have to make another trip out Saturday to pick up my car!!!

So I drove down to BMW Northwest in Fife and as soon as I got out of my truck I saw the 128i WOW!!! there was no one around so I got in and it really was not as small as I imagined it! I decided to get in as it was unlocked??? I started playing with the buttons and looking around at it! When A sales guy named James comes up! and introduces himself. I immediately told him my name and said that I was working with Ron. I asked him if I could go for a test drive and he says "Well, Ron is not here today" I told him that's OK I still want to go for a drive. He asked for my lic. and we went inside. He saw my name on my Drivers Lic. and says OH!! We got your car in yesterday! I damn near jumped out of my skin. I asked to see it and he said it's not here it's at the wherehouse so I said OK! He said well your car will be ready for you tomorrow and handed me back my drivers Lic. I looked at him a bit confused and asked so are we going?? He said to me Can't you wait till tomorrow!! and I responded to him NO! Let go for a ride!!..... So I stepped outside and was drooling over the 135i that had just gotten back from a Test drive and as I was talking to the test Driver he said Yeah!!! there's two more at the very end of the lot. kinda tucked away!
I ran across the lot and there it was MY Alpine White with Coral Red Leather!!
The 1st thing that ran into my mind was " That Piece Of $h1T"
But I then took pictures of my car and looked over my shoulder and noticed him looking at me at a distance.

I then went back to where the 135 was and we left the dealership for a test Drive Any one who Knows where this dealer is Will think this is total BULL$h!t. We took a right turn out of the dealer and found the entrance to I-5 we hopped on the freeway and then this A- Hole says! ok get off at the next exit! Basically he took me around the Block!!! My test drive was less than 4 minutes.

I was polite to him and shook his hand thanked him for his time. I assure you I will do everything I can to make sure this guy doesn't sell a car to anyone I know, Or don't know for that matter!!

I know that dealership, there is a fairly nice but short twisty section right after the intersection where the on ramp is. Dude was probably being a douche because he knew he couldn't get any commission off of you.

Hell No! I met an older Gentleman that Drove the 135i after my short drive and we were BS'ing he totally loved the car!! and I asked him to take a picture of me And My car!
I Also told him about this web Forum and gave him some tips on how to get a good deal. I warned him the the car doesn't come with floor mats and to negotiate them into the deal.

Rearro - I saw your car sitting at the dealership when my wife and I were down there test driving the 128 and 135 demos. They also had a black 135 with a six speed that had not been detailed yet. I am hoping it is going to be a demo and it is not a customer car. They had also just gotten a 128 silver vert right off the truck and I was told it was a demo to come back anytime after Saturday for a test drive.

I remember talking to a couple ,and they had told my that there were 2 more 1're in the back. Yes the white one is mine and the black one I believe it belonged to someone else I believe it had a Sold sign in the window!

Oh... and one quick point Rearro...

To be fair, the next exit off I-5 is 348th in Federal Way, almost 6 miles north. So it might just be "company policy" to get off at the 2nd Fife exit. Just a thought. Bummer though if you felt you got treated poorly. Car salesman are pretty territorial; if you aint buying from him, he's probably not your friend.

My drives were always at least up to the Hiway18/FW exit and back around south again.

Tell me about the 3M film. Are you getting that done through the dealer or a detail shop? Cost? I wonder what our hood will look like after driving around Europe for two weeks?
