Good question. Don't know. Didn't remember seeing anything about it in the Aust spec sheets somewhere on this forum.

I'm guessing but if you get the interior and exterior anti-dazzle option, the little note attached to it states that it comes with an exterior mirror package content. Maybe it only comes with that :iono:

I don't think we get folding mirrors. Why do we want it in such a small car anyway? On something like Aston it makes some sense, as it is very wide. But on a little one series? Just adds weight.

It's an option, External Mirror Package including fold-in function, memory function (via Personal Profile), automatic parking function and automatic anti-glare function. word for word out of the 1 Coupe brochure I picked up at the Brisbane Motor Show launch.

"Interior and power-adjustable folding exterior mirrors with automatic-dimming function" is only with the Premium Package. My CA provided me with the equipment listing and then I also had him check with on it again to make sure.

Every BMW in Australia with electric front seats has the automatic tilting passenger mirror on reversing. (if you have it switched on)

It is standard on the current 130i hatch so I would assume it comes standard with the 135i

They are very useful when reversing..they really highlight the curb and rear tyre position.Have them on my 330Ci..
Not sure if they included in our premium packages. Would be great if they are. |

Sorry to dig up an old post but can anyone that has taken delivery confirm if the mirrors dip when you engage reverse gear? Won't bother with the mirror package if they do.

Ok on mine (no mirror options) I have an auto dimming rear view mirror inside of the car, and the external door mirrors (at least the passenger side - didn't notice drivers side) adjust when you engage reverse so that you can see the kerb.
As far as I am aware, there is no way to electrically fold the mirrors in. |
