New Owner's Track Drive

I received an email from BMWNA this afternoon saying that I qualified for a complementary New Owner’s Track Drive. Has anyone taken part in one of these?

Thanks for posting this question. I received the same email today and plan on scheduling my experience at the Spartanburg, SC plant soon since I live only about two hours away. I’ll post my thoughts when I go.

FYI you can upgrade this to an M School if you want. I did this before and it cost extra but was worth it.

I did the M School a few years ago at Thermal Springs - was an absolute blast.

yes, i did that experience at Thermal a couple of years ago. I posted my review of it a while back. In short, book during the weekday...early in the morning. I did a Monday at 8am...and i was the only attendee. As such, i had so much track time and went through the entire lineup of M and Performance cars (M2, M4, M850, Z4M40, X5MC, M3) and i literally had to tap out as i was starting to feel sick (despite the fact i was driving). It was tons of fun...and then hopping in the M3 with the instructor behind the wheel and having them open up on the full race track was insanely fun.

Summary, DO IT...but try to work it where you avoid the weekend where the class is fully packed with like 20-30 ppl.

here's my thread
