LCI Dragy from today

Little disappointed in the 1/4mi trap but road conditions were not the best, was only able to make one 1/4mi run and a few 0-60. Was paying attention to boost psi which was 14.5 at launch and not rpm. Room for improvement w more seat time. When it's -DA I'll try again, but that'll be 6mos from now. No excuses though,it ran what it ran

For shits&giggles, this Dragy is from the new I4 M50i loaner I had when my X5 was having the 1200mi service done a few days ago. First time driving an EV,I was impressed w the acceleration from a dig and also from a 50-60-70mph roll. Charge was 95%.

Could definitely have fun (and I did) around town running errands in a 500hp+ EV etc,but still don't see myself owning one in the near future.

I'm aware the slope makes it invalid,I'm certain it'd run the within 1/10 of that time on a valid slope

Is your rig stock? I can’t remember. That’s pretty damn fast regardless. Sub 2 seconds on the 60ft?! Hell yeah.

Whenever I drive my M2, I think it’s faster than the minivan, then I hop in the minivan and I’m reminded it’s the nicknamed Millennium Falcon for a reason. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself.

But a stock ride might be faster still.

Yes,100% stock w a full tank of gas no less. Was expecting more but could easily be user error on my part. I'll continue playing w it and see where I end up

To me it's amazing to live in an era where a heavy 4-door family hauling utility vehicle is busting into the 11s. You always want more, but man, that's what I call a grocery getter.

I was coming out from a grocery store and a couple walked up and asked about the car. They're in an RX of some type, and wanted to know how I liked the car. I was thinking they were asking about the X5 in general, and gave them a brief rundown on the daily aspects. Then he says, "My car can run errands; what's it like to drive?"

So... I was like, "Dude, It's such a hoot to drive, I have a hard time not smiling when I look at it."

Could be BMW owes me a finders fee!

That's not too bad. It is about as fast as my old X3MC, and that was a quick car. I ran 11.77 bone stock, and ran a best of 10.65 on an E30 tune. We traded that car for a new G82 M4 Comp this past year. I haven't ran our X5MC yet, but I'm hoping it's close to the M4, which ran 11.4x in 3,500 DA. I think overall these X5's are versatile and damn quick for how heavy they are. Any plans to mod your X5?

BMW really messed it up with the weight of the LCI. pre-LCI casually did 3.3-3.4 for 0-60
