Lefthand Drive Euro Headlights...

Is there anyone in Europe willing to help us in the US who want the clear housing headlights?

We would need them from a country in Europe that has left hand drive cars and the forward lane in the streets is on the right.

Anyone?

I really dislike the amber.

How much are you willing to pay? They won't be cheap with the Euro to dollar exchange rate. I can get a price from my local dealer. Good news is I can send US Postal Priority mail, so they'll ship for cheap and no added customs duty.

I'm not really sure what to expect honestly. 2006+ 350Z headlights go for about 1400 a set. I wouldn't need the bulbs or ballasts as I could switch that out from my US lights.

I appreciate any numbers you could get me.

Best Regards

I'm sure they sell them as a complete part, but I'll check in the AM...

I saw a pair on eBay Germany (actually, each side was listed as a separate item). I think they were going for 300 euro each, so pushing nearly $1K USD total.

They are Euro 428.40 each including tax. Comes out to Euro 856.80, which is about $1285 plus $15 shipping equals $1,300 USD. I can get a little discount, so I could source them at about $1250 shipped to the US.

I'm definitely interested. Are the Euro headlights a direct plug and play on U.S cars? Please PM me part numbers.

I'd have to ask a technician if they are truly plug and play as the parts guy wasn't 100% positive. Part numbers are 63117181289 &63117181290.

Hello, I'm new to the forum. Just bought a 116i Hatchback and looking for some upgrades.

If anyone of you guys get the euro headlights, I'm interested on your current xenon sets.

Please give me quotes for the sets shipped to Miami, FL 33126.

Thanks in advance.

Is it possible to clear the headlights by baking them in the oven, splitting them and removing the amber? That's what I did on my last car.

+1 - I'd like to know too...

You could do this to the E46 3 series cars, X3, X5 etc. I think your best bet is to ask Matt @ www.umnitza.com, as they sell halo rings for many cars - if anybody will experiment with this, it will be them.

Why not? Do you know of a reason or are you just scared? A lot of people are scared to open the Subaru headlights, but it's really pretty simple and I've done it quite a few times now and not had any problems. You don't even have to heat them up that much. And I've never had fogging issues, even in Chicago.
