Creaking/Grumbling Sound on full lock
Hi all,
Our X5 is making a weird creaking/grumbling (I can’t find the words to exactly describe it but it sounds very mechanical) when driving slowly on full lock. Does anyone know what it could be? It sounds like it’s coming from the front, I’d imagine it’s a CV or just the differential however the car is only a couple of years old and only done 20k miles. Any help would be massively appreciated. Thanks |

It could be a lot of things. In my case it was the driveshaft center bearing. I had attached videos in this thread check it out to see if the noise is similar to what I had.
