tax calculation?
I heard X5 buyers need to pay NJ State sales tax 6.625% and luxury car tax 0.4%. How is the taxes calculated, based on net car price+destination or only based on net car price?
Thank you! |

Destination is included in the purchase price of the vehicle and it should be based on that minus any trade-in but verify with your dealer or state.

Rebates are not included so if you are getting a rebate from BMW, this does not lower the taxable price. Just reduces the amount you owe. Your dealer should give you a breakout in the build order. |
