I'll probably do it a lot at first, then it will taper off. Or perhaps I'll splurge and just have it professionally detailed once a month.
Anyone know how much those mobile detail guys cost? The ones that come to your work/home and detail your car right there on the spot? Dan |

This thread may end up being
moved to detailing and waxing. But here goes... I always put on a serious polish and wax or protectant first. Then a weekly wash is a lightweight event. Griots and Zaino are my product choices.

i voted once every 2-3 weeks but the real choice i wanted was not listed. you should update the poll to include "as often as it needs it". i don't see the point in washing the car when it doesn't need it (e.g. weekly, no matter what) and i also am not afraid to wash it twice in a single week if it also needs it.

Don't know how you can get away washing less often than once a week: The brake dust is incredible. My recollection from previous bimmers is that if you don't clean the wheels frequently, it gets much harder to clean them . ..

u might think u don't need to wash it that often but a brand new car like that, it's hard not to keep it shinny! |

I usually wash my car every weekend, but if it doesn't rain I'll wait two weeks sometimes.

Once a week in florida is a must with a black car. If it doesnt rain the pollen becomes a problem....Oh god...and the love bugs...dont get me started. I have a bottle of seafoam bug remover always in my trunk with a microfiber cloth.
