Carbon Fiber Interior - Yay or Nay?

I'm thinking about some tasteful OEM upgrades to:

- make my 135i a bit more special than stock factory
- keep the upgrades tasteful (not too personalized) and OEM for future resale

Carbon Fiber would be complimented with:

- Carbon Fiber mirrors
- BMW Performance Wheels
- BMW Aerodynamic Kit

Keep in mind you have to remove the center console to replace the ashtray cover and trim.

Yet again ... do what you want ... I do like CF, but not enough to pony up for it. But then I bought Sedona Red and Coral Red, and that appears to be a sin with a number of people. It's your car ... make it yours and enjoy !!

If the gloss black is to sparkly, CF will be the fix.

i love the carbon fiber (minus price). i just don't know how many interiors it will look good in. black is ok, but i have savanna beige. Don't think the compliment each other too well...

YAH the CF parts are not cheap, but a Sedona red/Coral leather 135i costs $2k more then an Alpine/blackette 135i. Spend your money on what YOU want.

I will get the interior kit, because I LIKE seeing it. Thats where I WILL be when driving. The exterior parts are for other people to see. Sure I will get the CF mirror caps and spoiler, but after the interior kit. But these are my choices.

Yea, I might do that or remove the black trim and have it painted real piano black.

That might be less expensive and quite unique.
