Hello. I was wondering if anyone has had it installed to the car on lot, but before purchase. And how much it cost. I'm getting some crazy $1,800 number installed. Wanted to know who paid what did it.

I have it. Installed myself. Easy. I would say it’s a good quality product as far as what it does. It’s one of those things you have and wish that you’d never need to use. One thing I do not like is that if the car is parked and electricity is completely cut off, your app becomes useless because it requires BT connection every time to sync the app with camera. So that means even the camera comes with the Parking feature, you’d never be able to stop someone trying to break into or vandalizing your car at the moment nor it can send alert via app since there’s no connection . You can only view the footage when you connect app to it later. But if they break the window, they’d take the camera away for sure.

Here’s the good: clear resolution and audio. Sensitivity to trigger recording is reliable. Probably the most reliable censor trigger device I have owned. It’s bmw oem product. All in all it’s a pretty much useless product most of time, but you install it for the peace of mind.
