My build is only “scheduled for production” and I still can’t get 100% on board with dravit grey. It just seems to be too many things from gold sparkle to almost a flat concrete grey….

Sooo - I finally am trying to create a poll to get everyone’s opinion - yea I know it’s my money , but ya know what - I value most of everyone’s opinion on here and it contributes to “my opinion”

Below are some photos - and the rest of the spec will have
1) completing the sport trim look with exterior aluminum running boards
2) black merino
3) fine line open pore wood trim
3) alcantara headliner
4) glass controls with exec package


My backups are either
1) skyscraper grey
2) black sapphire

Car is definitely sticking in sport like trim. No m sport.

Dravit gets my vote. Definitely like how it changes appearance based on the lighting. Your other two choices are a bit bland.

Agree and that’s why I keep landing on dravit. I’m looking for something with more uniqueness to give the sport trim a bit of a more special flare.

Well, I just love my Tanzanite Blue. The color changes in different light conditions.

Question: Have you test drove a X5 with running boards? They are annoying on the legs/ankles.

Yea i know the running boards aren’t great but my kids really want them and I think it makes the car look a lot better in sport trim so I’m willing to deal with it.

I voted black sapphire. Any gray variant or white or silver with aluminum wheels and trim look awfully bland to me, sorry. That's my personal preference.

Of the greys I like my Brooklyn Grey. A lighter grey is needed where I am with dirty roads. So with your poll I would do Dravit

Big uptick in the dravit votes from the recent voters. Not looking good for BS!

I just received my 50e in Dravit grey and I love it. We went with the M-Sport because the silver trim looks awful though. I had a black grille waiting before I even took delivery and I'm just trying to decide how I want to handle blacking out the exhaust shrouds but I'll likely just wrap them in gloss black.
