Racing simulator

Posted this on another forum and thought I would post it here too for a bit of fun. Anyone else has a simulator? We can race GT5 online...
----------------------------------------------
Hello daddy's internet friends. I have a story to tell you about my interesting afternoon and evening.
Today mummy's friend made me a ice cream cone cup cake. It looks really nice:

Just when I was about to get into it, some strange man came to my apartment and brought this big machine that looks like a race car with no wheels. It took him half an hour to get it up to our place and another half an hour to do the final installation.

Turns out this is called a racing simulator. It has a PS3 attached to the front of it and some racing decals from daddy's era (edit by daddy: Actually daddy was only 1 year old then).

Later in the evening, I decided to check it out when the man was gone. Problem was, it didn't fit me at all! My arms doesn't reach the steering wheel and my feet doesn't reach the pedals!

When daddy got home, it became obvious who this was for. Wasn't for me at all!!! But it's ok, daddy needs his toys too. I already have the 135i and the C63. It's only fair that daddy gets something too.

The game daddy is playing looks like fun though...go Daddy!!!

$8k plus. Just like our BMW, it starts from $7k, but the option list is pretty long lol. Things like bigger/better screen, aluminium sequential shifter, colour scheme and decals etc. It's custom to your needs and mine is chassis 47 so I guess there are 46 other of these floating around somewhere...

That decal is the only one in existence btw. No doubt others will copy it as it looks sensational. I know they have made a few in McLaren and Ferrari F1 decals but I thought the 70's Lemans decals are timeless. This particular one was from the Porsche 935 turbo "World Champion" car driven by Jacky Ickx.

That's an awesome solution to a problem I've been facing. Was looking for a racing seat/place to attach the G25 wheel when playing GT5P

Way, that's an awesome setup. Reminds me of this which was at the Sydney motor show last year http:///www.gizmodo.com.au/2008/05/motionpro_ii_racing_simulator_blows_minds_budgets_ verdict_must_have_prepare_divorce_papers-2.html

I didn't get a chance to have a go since there was a long waiting list.

That's why I have another PS3 hooked up to the 50inch TV! Can't decide if I should get one for the bedroom as well. I have a 46inch Bravia in the bedroom and it seems to be a waste just running tv on it when it is capable of 1080p...

WOw that is cool. The guys who built mine has developed a motion thingy as well. It cost another $7.5k to put in. Can't justify that.

I play GTR2 on the PC from time to time. It is a brilliantly realistic simulator and very modifiable. Especially good when the weather is rough outside!

LOL @ post. Awesome. Brings the PS3 up to another level!

I love your apartment. Nice classic pieces. You must be a frequent flyer at Space! Stunning views. I'd like to apply for a position as your cleaner.
