A/C Recharge...Low Pressure Port location?

I am trying to recharge my A/C temporarily as I wait to hear back from BMW in regards to my evaporator replacement, and can't seem to find anything regarding the low pressure port location? Is it not possible to recharge the A/C using the traditional DIY can method? I see the port where they performed the dye test, however not sure if that's the same or not. Any insight would be much appreciated!

Yeah my local AutoZone has a bunch in stock.

What model or engine do you have? You don't have it listed in a signature or below your handle/name...and you didn't mention it in your post.
