oilchange warranty jb3

I have a Jb3 and a logic hvi, and i need an oil change and basic service. will bmw dealer check in the ecu box to see if i have a jb3?

You never can tell. Often they donīt look since it takes time and they only do what they read on the serviceorder. If your are a player go for it!

We're paid for efficiency. We do the oil change, and get your car out. That's it. We don't start taking apart random stuff just for the fun of it. The only issue would be if you messed up some of the wiring and we couldn't reset the oil service light, or even if you didn't mess up the wiring but there was still an issue resetting the light. Then we might need to get into the DME box.

Hands down - NO!

If it is discovered they could flag your car and you can kiss your warranty goodbye.

Change the oil yourself and save the receipts if you don't want to remove it.
