Injen dual cone intake

I hadn't really planned to install this today, but decided to since the weather was decent. Hence, I did not take the time or have a camera handy to do a DIY, but the intake comes with pages of step by step instructions that were very easy to follow. It points out any differences between the 135 and 335 install. The quality and design of both the intake and plenum are very high and well thought out.

My JB+ is coming next week, so I'll be able to give a better review once it is installed. Nice growl with this intake. Not overwelming. I decided to go with this intake over the multitude of others, based on my knowledge of Injen products from previous cars and they are the only ones I've seen that have given Dyno results on this intake. Whether or not I necessarily believe those dyno results is another thing, but I do like the look and the quality of this intake.

I took a couple pics below.

Lol, sorry. I'm looking for a nice, polished product, not necessarily bleeding edge performance.

You can definitely hear the turbos more.

As far a feel the power increase? I'm not going to be one of "those guys" that as soon as they get a mod on their car, start saying "OMG, you can feel the increase in pull and power!" Even if the claims of +15 are true, that's like a 5% increase and I don't think that would be noticeable by most...at least myself.
Now, on the other hand, it will compliment nicely with my JB+ coming this week.
I guarantee I will notice a difference then.

I think the injen intakes look better than the riss racing but I'm wondering if one outperforms the other. A dyno comparison would be nice between all the different intakes available.

Honestly, the differences in gains are probably minimal, but in conjunction with other tunes, it'll definitely help. Now, as far as looks and quality, I would rather pay $439 shipped for the Injen (including intake and plenum) rather than $319 for intake and over $200 for plenum from RR. The look of the new RR plenum is not for me at all. I know plenty of people love it, but I prefer the Injen look and quality.

Here is the link on the Injen Dyno info.

I love my Riss intake but I cannot fault anyone that goes with the injen intake it is a good looking mod and I am sure the dynos on those two are close.
