I want!
If I got this done and the door levers wrapped, I'd have no more silver in the car. Did you do it yourself?

You can either buy the parts or send your parts to Germany. I paid 300 for the handles and 150 for the door pulls (that includes new oem parts and shipping) I sent my clusters and they were 115 euro including shipping. I have a pdf product sheet with prices if you leave your email addresses I will forward it.

Guys... I'd hit up Tekarbon or someone here in the states... they can do the same wrapping service, except from here in the US instead of sending your stuff ( and $$$ ) all the way to Germany.
When I got my mirror bases done he charged me $75 a side and they turned out awesome. So to me the price seems a little more reasonable. *No affiliation other than a happy customer. |

Jra as i sad to you in the private pm's your posts are an inspiration for something a bit non commonly seen with the Z4!
I ordered and installed the Carbon Fiber door pulls from http://www.carbon-factory.de/ and let me tell you he is top class! I ordered BMW's Factory Carbon Fiber trim (the 3 needed pieces) so when they come in i will post pics for the boards to see. I also bought off eBay a gauge cluster so i can have my surrounds wrapped in Alcantara, and of course i still have the M steering wheel sitting in my trunk waiting for all the other pieces to be installed all at once! since i am going with the OEM carbon Fiber trim i don't want to over due my interior with CF, so i am having the gauge surrounds in Alcantara to prevent to much CF. plus i think it would set the gauges apart from the CF on the center console nicely.. but i will admit i did give it much thought on sending them out to carbon-factory.de. BTW: where did you get the black shift knob? i cant find them anywhere for the Z4.. |

Billy,
thank you very much. I think the alcantara will look really good. I would love to see pics when it is finished. I'm contemplating covering my steering wheel in alcantara. I bought a steering wheel from a member and I sending it to www.dallassteeringwheel.com to get a 1/8 in padding and red 12 o'clock ring. The shift knob is an oem 2.5 shifter. |
