Oil change at 2,000 miles?
I'm going into the dealership today to get an alignment done and I was wondering if you guys think I should have them do an oil change too now that I'm at 2,000 miles and break-in was completed about 1,000 miles ago. Is it worth the $100 or so they charge for an oil change at so few miles? It's a lease so would an oil change just effect long term life or performance too?

If its a lease, I would wait till 15,000 , no sense on wasting money when you could use the 100.00 for another mod.

If BMW thought that the car needed a service that early they would tell you to do it in my opinion

I dumped my oil at 1301 miles so I think it worth it, as I always do this. I did it myself though, no dealer oil changes for me outside of the covered ones. Plenty of Oil Analysis sheets around to give people the 411.
