Dinan Springs Installed

I just installed the dinan springs on my 07 m coupe. It was a pretty straight foward procedure thanks to Chuck who was able to send over some pointers before getting started. As far as a review, compared to stock I would say the ride is slightly stiffer but not uncomfortable. The car does stay flatter in hard turns and the drop is about a half inch or so (Will still settle a bit). I did have the H&R springs installed as well and they are definatley a harsher ride. I would say the dinan set-up is ideal if you are looking for a slight drop with some handle enhancement without sacrificing much ride comfort. The H&R's give you more stiffness and less squat but you do sacrifice ride qualitly. For $286 along with 15% rebate and an easy install I am very happy with the springs. I will be getting coilovers eventually but this should hold me over until then. I will post pictures shortly.

Garage List
can the dinan springs be used in conjunction with stock shocks? b/c i know typically when you run "aftermarket" springs w/o replacing shocks, it'll shorten the lives of the shocks...

That is typically the case, dinan claims on the websoite that these do work in conjunction with the factory shock but I dont know how much truth is behind that statement. They are not much stiffer than stock, but i am looking to install tck coil-overs in the near future, so i am using these to hold me over. I also like that they are more aggresive than stock but not harsh like the H&R I had on previously.

Any pics? Have they settled lower than the original .5" drop?
