Hello from E90post

Hey guys, I just wanted to say hi from e90post. There are a bunch of us 335 guys here in Denver that meet alot and attend all the cca drives and events. Are any of you guys attending the driving schools or spring drive next month?

I know there probably arent as many M3's as 335's so if you guys ever want to come out to meet with us some time its all good. Also, if you guys ever have or know of a meet and want to let us know, that would be cool too.

Hey there... I'm not registered for the Driving School in Pueblo, buy i'm planning on it. I was just reading about the Spring Event (I just recently joined RMC BMW CCA, and got the newsletter).

I bet if you posted when you guys meet, some of us might drop by...

Thanks.

Well I think there might be a few spots open for the sunday event but I know saturday is full. Those events fill up fast.......There is a car control clinic and spring drive next month too. Those are both a blast! I was unsure about joining BMWCCA until I got the magazines and attended the drives. They are so much fun. Just picture 100+ other people who are just as crazy about their cars as you are.

I am going to do the Spring Drive but won't make Pueblo. Going to spend the track time and $$$ at HPR once they are fully up and running (which they should be now.)

Pueblo is actually pretty awsome and the fact that it is a BMWCCA event makes it better. There will be a bar-b-q and awards. Its real fun. If you havent been to one you should try it, at least once. Its more then just tracking your car. The people are great.

This one is about 5 hrs. Its real fun. Even my gf who hates driving had a blast last fall when it was a two day drive to Steamboat Springs.

I'll be at the driving school(First Timer) on Saturday. I won't make the spring drive as two weekends in a row is a little tough with two eight year olds at home. I'm sure ColoCane and I will try an informal run up through the mountains soon. I have my 1200 mi oil change this Thursday.

Hey guys I just thought that I would invite you to Bandamire Speedway for the test and tune night tomarrow Weds the 6th of May. I couple of us are bringing our 335's and I have also invited the 1 guys. If we could get a big bimmer showing that would be cool! Check out the thread here and come on out!

Also, any of you guys planning on going to the BMWCCA get together Thursday night?

Ill see you there! There are like 5 of us going to be out there Saturday too! Most of us are beginners too so we will probably all be in group D and get to run together.

I am the #1 Waitlist for Saturday or if that doesn't happen, I'm registered for Sunday. Looking forward to it. Hope I can make Saturday. Are you gys renting helmets or did you buy them already?

I also think we're going to do the Spring Drive. Get out, take the care on a run (I also need the miles! James, I'm only at 935, so I need to hit 1200 and get a service/inspection before the end of the month!). My wife said it looks like fun. Will be nice to meet some other Bimmer fanatics.

James is also right about the informal run too. We talked about a photoshoot/drive into the hills. All in due course...

If you envision doing a bunch of these, it makes sense to buy one for yourself. Maybe see how you like it and try on a helmet or two - fit varies a lot between different manufacturers. I personally like the Arai GP5, best you can get if it fits (but not cheap.)

Hope all of you have a blast, I won't be able to make it. Look forward to a spring drive, either with the RMC event or a side trip.

Thanks, Signes, that's just it... don't know how often I'll have the time to track the car. I'm sure I'll love it, but like fly fishing and golf, time is the enemy for me right now. I figured fit and function for helmets are predicated on purchase and cost, GP5 - $1,200... ouch!

I believe you said you were going on the Spring Drive. Look forward to meeting you. Also, forward to an M drive in the mountains for a collective photo op.
