Sick in style: BMW's 407HP X6 xDrive50i Ambulance

As featured on Bimmerpost homepage.

I refuse to travel to the hospital in anything else Powered by a 407 horsepower 4.4-liter V8, the X6 Ambulance features all the necessary equipment on board along with more LED lights than we can count to promptly notify the other drivers on the road. The X6 Ambulance will be making its premiere at this week's RETTmobil trade show for rescue and mobility vehicles in Germany.

I'm scratching my head trying to think how they fit a laden stretcher in there...

Not an Ambulance

Actually, this (great) car has 'NOTARZT' labels on its sides, which roughly translates to 'Emergency Doctor'. So it will not be used as an Ambulance to fetch the poor little b*stard with the broken leg to the ER, but rather the doctor will drive it to the emergency site.
In Germany (and other places), doctors often don't drive in the ambulance car, but use more 'executive' stiles of transportation.
The other day, I saw an M-tech SG E91 with 'NOTARZT' stickers and a blue lightbar slowly driving to ... a weekend holiday resort.

You wouldn't have enough room to scratch your head in an X6....
