wheel and tire sizing

i just got a new set of wheels

19x8.5 235/35/19
19x9.5 265/30/19

The fit of the tire on the rims in the front isnt the greatest...there is a bit of a space...can i go to a 245/35/19 instead? has anyone done this before?

What are your current offsets? 245's may work depending on your ride height and offset.

Id go with a 5mm spacer in the rear just to even out the gap in the back. I dont know about the front though.

I should be receiving my AluFelgen CS7 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 wheels on May 28th. I was going to run 235 / 265, but decided at the last minute to make the rears 275 because I don't plan on lowering the car. But I'm having second thoughts about not going with 245 front, 275 rear. I'll see how this looks and can always change sizes with my next set. Do your 235's look too streched on the 8.5 rim? Is that the problem?
