Houston body shop recommendation
Folks,
Someone hit me from behind on Monday. My 335 suffered minor damages to the rear quarter panel, and a big dent in the bumper. The driver's insurance company is covering the damages. The insurance company recommended BMW momentum west body shop. I called my dealership BMW Houston north and they recommended Intercontinental Body shop. Anyone has any feedback on these two body shops? If you have other recommendation, I would like to hear it too. Thanks! |

Intercontinental or Rapid body works. both are BMW certified body shops and both do excellent work.

Metropolitan Collision, they deal with Lamborghini of Houston and a couple of BMW dealerships.
They've replaced my front bumper and did a great job. Ask to speak with Jason Holder. |

ACTUALLY they arnt. BMW of austin, BMW of dallas, Classic BMW, and Moritz BMW are the only BMW certified collision centers in texas. just because they work on them doesnt mean they are officially recognized by BMW. Quote:

I grew up with Jason from Kindergarten onward. We're both named Jason conicidently. He gave me one incredible deal when I got my bumper. I've got a ding in my hood I need stop by and have them give me an estimate. |

Andy Holder has been taking car of my BMW's and others for years. Top tier work and trust-able. End of story. My friends to who whom I recommend him all say the same. |

Got a HUGE stone mark right on the crease under my mirror a few weeks ago. (Seriously. For a stone mark, it actually looked like someone hit the car with a ball peen hammer - paint missing and everything. Everyone thought I was exaggerating until they saw it).
Anyway, lots of recommendations for both Metropolitan Collision and Modena Autowerks. Metropolitan couldn't get me in for a couple of weeks, and I ended up going with Modena. EXCELLENT work. It was major enough that there was going to need much metal repair and paint. (This is a concern because of new BMWs and they're ridiculous amount of orange peel. I was worried about having orange peel everywhere, except the passenger side door which would be nice and smooth). The guys at Modena were very good. It took longer than originally stated, and cost more (it always does), but the work was excellent. They matched the orange peel when they repainted, and I cannot tell it was repaired. I'm pretty happy. |
