How often does everyone get an alignment done on there E9x ?

Whats the typical dealer cost for this?

I would recommend getting an alignment any time you decide to work on your suspension, driving in a heavy pothole region, or anytime you may accidentely hit a stationary divider like a curb. Do not take your car to the dealer for an alignment. They will charge you an arm and a leg plus it'll probably takes ages before they get around to your car. Just take it to any normal alignment center, I get my alignments for $75. Make sure the machine can accommodate your vehicle if youre dropped, I had to learn the hard way

Ok, So I guess I'm not too bad off then ... $119.00 + tax Canadian, for a 4 wheel alignment on my 328xi

I'm stuck having them do it, as they are replacing my Bridgestone RFT's for me, no charge. Least I could do is pay for the alignment

Paid 75 for my alignment from a good shop. You just need to get your height even all around.

Dealer told me to do it every 12,000 miles. I've read it's not necessary unless you have uneven tire wear. Not sure what to do myself.

What kind of alignment machines are u guys getting your cars aligned with?

i py $275 for alignment and corner balance --- albeit its a race alignment and performed by the master for BMW cars --- Mr.M Car.

he spends a good 30 minutes going over what you do with the car, lap times you are running, what tires you run, what suspension you run, what brakes you run. All of that should be taken into account when performing a Performance Alignment

But if you just are going from a to b daily, just get it done at a BMW shop.

Iv got an alignment for $65 dollars before on all 4 corners.
