Replacement 18" tires?

I'm going to get some new 18 inchers, and I don't see any reason to keep the runflats. So, for the money, what are the best replacement tires? Generals? I won't be autocrossing or driving aggressively. I just need a smooth riding, quiet set of tires for the commute to work that still provide decent handling. Suggestions? Vendors?

I think a summer tire, I live in the southeast so there is never snow or ice. Good wet weather traction is important though.

If you're looking for a bang for the buck tire such as the Generals, a good tire to look into would also be the Kumho SPT. Iv personally driven on them during wet conditions and they have done great. They are sticky yet offer great treadwear and are currently more affordable then the Generals.
