Boot release

I'm probably being daft, but I can't find the boot release button in my UK-spec 135i.

There's a blank spot where the user manual says it should be.

Any pointers to how to open the boot when in the car?

I think you have to use the button on the keyfob to pop the boot while in the car, although i've never really had the need to do it while I've been in the car

Hmm - did they leave the button on the left hand side? It should be just above the bonnet release handle.

you not being daft mate, i did exactly the same..

i spose they felt it was not needed in the UK.

its a pain if for example you drop some one off, and they need a bag out of the boot.. only way is to remove the key ..

Do you not have the release button on the trunk handle? You shouldn't have to remove the key for that.

All you have to do is press the unlock button under the hazard lights button, that allows you to open the boot while still running the car.

Ok great, thanks everybody.
Still odd the UK spec lacks a dedicated button.
